About WIZ Construction.
William
Zarnoch graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Contracting and Construction from Utica College of Syracuse University
in 1971. He has been a general contractor for the past 30 years
and has worked in the residential as well as the commercial realm
of construction during that time.
His area of
expertise involves ALL aspects of the construction business. Mr.
Zarnoch has expanded his business from upstate New York to the North
Carolina area and has been building steel and wood framed homes
in the Southport - Oak Island - Bald Head Island area for the past
five years. He holds an unlimited license in both commercial and
residential building for the State of North Carolina.
Mr. Zarnoch's
company, WiZ CONSTRUCTION CO., INC. has to its
credit the following accomplishments:
- The
current construction of custom steel and wood framed homes on
Bald
Head Island, North Carolina.

The building of custom steel and wood framed homes in the Oak
Island – Southport area of North Carolina (including his
own) all tested by “Bonnie,” “Fran,” “Floyd,”
and “Charley.”

Many commercial jobs involving the use of steel framing using
light and heavy metal gauge studs.
Whether
you choose to build with steel or wood, Mr. Zarnoch is fully engrained
in the project—from preliminary meetings with architects--to
fastidiously laying the foundation—to tarring the roof in
the Carolina summer sun. He is one of the few contractors that spends
the majority of his time in the field working hand-in-hand with
his team and other subcontractors. This translates to his immersion
in every phase and aspect of the building process, from conceptualization
to completion.
